Jen Lapinski was born in Fort Collins, Colorado. Despite her Colorado roots, she has lived most of her life outside of the state in Wyoming, Utah, and New York. In 2002, she graduated from Weber State University with a degree in Psychology and Art. In 2004, she made her way back to Colorado to pursue a degree in Music/Sound Engineering at the University of Colorado at Denver. During that time, she also discovered her love of performing and teaching. She has been playing a variety of instruments over the years including guitar, piano, trumpet, and drums. Currently, Jen enjoys performing small shows around the Denver area. She also teaches private lessons, manages/teaches an after school program called "Lil' Rockers", and teaches classes at the Boys & Girls Club and Swallow Hill Music School. Jen's philosophy on teaching is to "make learning music as fun as possible."
